Noise Pollution a Silent Killer.

A study released by the World Health Organization suggests that thousands of people around the world may be dying early or be overcome by disease due to the gradual and cumulative effects of long-term noise exposure.

There is no question that constant exposure to noise or any unwanted sound, even loud human voice, is harmful to humans' mental and physical health.

We must indeed respect other people’s privacy and personal rights to have peaceful and domestic tranquility, as specified by our laws. Besides, noise pollution is unhealthy and sleep is very vital to health.

Although we are used to street noise in our daily lives, such as noise from backyard parties, from an (especially with faulty mufflers)cycle or an engine or tricycles, sirens, loud car music from careless and insecure people or electronic stores, videoke singing, Zumba, noisy dogs, and other animals.

Chronic noise pollution leads to increased secretion of adrenalin in the body causing higher blood pressure, and general stress on our body, especially on the immune system.

All of this lowers our body's resistance to many types of disease in subtle ways, beyond our awareness, perception, or suspicion. We consider all these noises normal and harmless, but they are actually, unhealthy.

Moreover, living in a noisy environment is not just annoying, it is also dangerous to our health. People who are experiencing high levels of noise are more likely to suffer a heart attack than people living in a quiet neighborhood.

Stop Noise Pollution, Protect the Health, Protect the Environment.
